El mundo del metal esta de luto, la banda estadounidense de thrash metal SLAYER ha informando la muerte del guitarrista Jeff Hanneman por una falla hepática en el siguiente comunicado:
Slayer is devastated to inform that their bandmate and brother, Jeff Hanneman, passed away at about 11AM this morning near his Southern California home. Hanneman was in an area hospital when he suffered liver failure. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his sister Kathy and his brothers Michael and Larry, and will be sorely missed.
Lamentable noticia para los fanáticos del metal, la muerte de uno de los fundadores de SLAYER deja un vació en la escena metalera. En este momento agradezco a la vida por haber tenido el privilegio de ver en vivo a la banda en el año 2006 en la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia. Jeff Hanneman fue una gran influencia para el nacimiento de los discos legendarios de SLAYER.
